2020-09-12 - gaps

Sometimes it all gets away from you - I’ve enjoyed a week and half of leave as best I can while stuck at home under lockdown, and in doing so left behind my home “office” and my computer in it. All those plans for doing some tech stuff fell by the wayside - not intentionally, I just couldn’t find the energy to sit in that room - so I wasn’t writing anything here either. I’ve read a few books, watched an old film or two, stared out the window, played with the cats, rearranged the living room, and generally just done anything I can to escape the world of work. I even got out on my bike, once. It’s hard seeing spring arrive out there, through the window, and I hope we really have made it through the worst of it over winter (a benefit of being in the southern hemisphere…).
