So, what should go **here**?

Like many of you, I grew up in what I consider the heyday of the internet, 90's + 00's. Websites were unique and showed the character of their creator. People just wanted to share their passions with the world. I discovered like-minded hardware hackers, artists, and musicians there that helped form what I am today.

I long for simpler times: no 'social media', no 'influencers', no tech moguls, no intrusive trackers or spyware any time I want to view a page. I just want to be inspired by people and what they do without all the distraction.

So that's why I am here.
