A short week

Interstate 70 is waaaay prettier in the other direction

I flew to Denver on Monday, rented a car then drove to Hays, Kansas where my hotel was located. It was supposed to be a 4.5 hour drive but an hour got added due to a blizzard. Spring time in the western United States is not what most people think of as spring.

I worked in a plant in Russell, Kansas for two days. After work on the second day, I finished my paperwork and was asleep by 1900. I woke up at 0140 (20 minutes before my alarm due to a mutant ability I have to set my internal clock), and was checked out of the hotel and on the road by 0200. Due to speeding, I was in Rock Springs, Wyoming 7 hours and 47 minutes later.

I am now enjoying a three day weekend.
